More than just royal attire, the Patan Patola is a 900-year-old mathematical and artistic marvel. Using the rare Double Ikat weaving technique, both warp and weft threads are resist-dyed with natural colors before a single thread is placed on the loom. Taking anywhere from six months to over a year to weave a single saree, every inch is a testament to the unmatched precision of Gujarat's heritage artisans.
